Its morning time on a working day and like millions of households, Akash household is also full of activity, Akash ready for his office, daughter Raksha for her school and Rekha has almost finished everything and serving breakfast to Akash who is on the table but Raksha is running little late, as it is almost time for her school bus to come. She comes to the table hurriedly but as she sits on the chair next to Akash, she topples over the coffee cup placed by Akash on the edge of the table. Coffee cup, almost full, falls first on Akash’s shirt, then down on pant, breaks into pieces as it falls on the floor.

Do Good Feel Good- A story

Almost as reflex action, Akash shouts at Raksha. Poor Raksha already tensed up, starts crying. Rekha comes out of the kitchen, sees Raksha crying and as it happens in millions of couples all over the world, a verbal dual starts between the two. The home which was serene & totally at peace, suddenly becomes flared & agitated. None of the three have breakfast properly in the melee. Raksha has already missed her bus, so Akash has to drop her. He is also late for his office. He gets dirty looks from everyone as he apologises for being late and takes his place in the scheduled meeting.


Whole day is almost a waste both for Rekha and Akash, both initially tensed but later apologetic. Raksha, of course has forgotten about the morning fiasco after she sees her friends in her school. By evening things have almost normalized in the heavenly household and next morning another day begins.

Feel Good

What caused one day’s acrimony & restlessness in the otherwise peaceful household, was walking away from GOOD & embracing Bad, even though momentarily. It is when we loose our momentary balance, anger overtakes us and manifests in many forms within us. However, we should always remember that our inner feelings are reflected in many forms outwardly. In the story above, if Akash had just for the controlled his anger at the spillage of coffee cup, normalcy would prevailed.

If everything passed normally

Another course for the same event could have been for Akash to have just laughed off his daughter’s misadventure, asking her to be patient and careful, gone to his bedroom to changeover, would have had his breakfast in little more hurry, Raksha would have caught her school bus, Rekha would have had her breakfast in peace asking the maid to clean up everything. In other words, if Akash had just remained cool and not reacted negatively spontaneously, everything would just have passed off normally.

Good and Goodness

“Our short life span is nothing but a reflection. When we are Good and spread Goodness, only GOOD will rebound. More LOVING we are, more we are LOVED. GOOD HEALTH happens when we detoxify our physical body and subconscious mind by THANKING HIM through our Prayers which are a Great source of Peace & Serenity in our lives. Good Health also happens when we are ready to Consciously, Lovingly and Willfully FORGIVE all those who hurt us.
